Good Times in Coward
Coward is home to one of Florence County’s athletic complex with three athletic fields that host baseball, softball, and soccer each year. Close to 175 children sign up each year to participate in these sports. All teams are sponsored through local and surrounding businesses and coached by dedicated volunteers.
The Town of Coward will be hosting the annual “Coward Harvest Festival” on Saturday, September 29th 2018. Starting with the Parade at 11:00 a.m. going straight into the festival ending at 5:00 p.m. near the intersection of St. Paul Rd and Gause Canal, next to the Bible Temple Church in Coward. Activities include food vendors, inflatable play areas, arts & crafts, and more.
On the first Saturday of each December, this family orientated event occurs at the Coward Town Park which is located across from the Post Office on US Hwy 52. The even includes free hot chocolate and coffee, music and a special “visit” from Santa and his Elves for the children and a fireworks display.
