Water bills can be paid at the Coward Town Hall at the walk-up counter, drive-through window, online, or sent by mail. Method of payments accepted are cash, personal check, money order or cashier’s check. Debit or credit cards are accepted through an outside vendor for a small fee.

- Bills due monthly on or before the 15th of the month
- $10 late fee added after the 15th
- Cut off date-19th of the month

We have a drive-thru and drop box (located at the drive thru) for customer’s convenience.

- In town residential:
$12 (up to 2499 gallons) per month - In town commercial:

Other fees:
- Deposit – $75 required for all new residents
- Late fee – $10
- Reconnection fee – $30
- Cut on fee – $10
- Cut off fee – $10
- Pull meter fee – $50
- Town Meter Tampering Charge – $200 (in addition to criminal charges and additional fines and fees)
- Tap fee – Minimum $1,450
Sewer system is owned and operated by City of Lake City and only services a small portion of in town residents and businesses. The rate is $35.80 (up to 2500 gallons) per month. There is an additional $7.22 per each 1000 gallons thereafter.
Garbage pick-up outsourced to Waste Management and only residents inside the town limits are included in this service. $35 non-refundable fee required and a monthly fee of $24. Pick up is every Tuesday.
